Prime Appointments – an independent recruitment agency established in Witham (Essex) in 1992. In 2008 we saw the opening of the Sudbury (Suffolk) branch.

Commercial Division
Covering all types of office positions, we handle temporary and permanent vacancies from Office Junior to Management level. We are able to test candidate skills sets, for skills from Excel, Word & other MS suite applications from basic to advanced competencies. This can give us the power to identify the most talented candidate for your business.
Full in-depth interviewing and assessment of all applicants is carried out at the office by an experienced member of our team, enabling us to determine which candidate is best for the role.
Industrial Division
The Industrial division, headed by our Operations Director – Colin Trenfield, is used to handling large volume contracts as well as smaller more bespoke requirements, where it is more important to get the right personality to fit into your work environment, and skills requirements, proving we can be very flexible to your requirements.
We carefully face to face interview each candidate and determine what skills & personality could fit which of our diverse range of clients. We ensure that all candidates have been checked for the ever changing legalities for workers here in the UK.
We operate a 24 hour service & have the flexibility to be available to meet your working requirements. We have held our Gang master licence since 2007 and have a thorough understanding of the legislation required for supply of staff within this Arena. We cover most towns within Essex and Suffolk, and we are proud to say we have dealt with some of our clients for over 18 years, which is a clear accolade to the service we provide.
Technical/Engineering and Construction Division
Ben, Helen and Josh run our Technical & Engineering desk, which has been operational since 2001. Over this time we have placed hundreds of skilled Engineers/Technical staff across East Anglia. We are able to place staff for both short term e.g. Sickness cover, to longer term contracts, through to permanent positions.
Our Technical Consultants also cover Senior Industrial roles from Warehouse & Production Managers to Transport and Logistics roles applying the same exact standards and attention to detail that our clients and candidates expect and deserve.
Social Care
Prime Appointments’ Social Care Division specialises in the identification, selection and introduction of Senior Professionals within the Care Sector. Fiona Faircloth has joined Prime Appointments as the Social Care Manager and has 10 years of extensive experience in this market. Fiona’s role within the new Division means we can offer permanent and interim recruitment solutions for senior and management positions throughout the UK.
