My client is seeking an experience mould tool setter to join their team ASAP. The purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Mould Shop through safe and efficient mould tool changes and monitoring of machine performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out mould tool changes

Perform safety checks

Perform QC checks

Set and programme moulding machines

Monitor machine performance taking corrective action where required

Run multiple moulding machines

Liaise with tool room to co-ordinate tool changes

Responsible for Moulding Area in the absence of the Mould Shop Supervisor

Open and lock up the building

Develop ideas for continuous improvement

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge of 25 100 tonne Arburg Injection Moulding Machines

Knowledge of Selogica and Polytronica control systems

Experience with polymers including PVC, Acetal, Nylon ABS and TPU
