HR Manager

To lead in all HR operational activities, ensure that all policies, employment law legislation and best practice is adhered to and updated in order to promote the department positively.

Duties/Responsibilities
Daily supervision of the HR team
Overall responsibility for the management and control of operational safeguarding including DBS and single central
Proactively manage staff absence
Manage all HR appraisal activity
Meet regularly with Heads of Learning/Departments
Support HR Partners in the recruitment process
Supporting event preparation
Preparation of monthly high level reporting
Supervise all audit and Ofsted preparation
Train client groups on HR related initiatives, policy or procedure
Provide guidance to client groups on initiatives such as restructure and redundancy

With support from the HR co-ordinator and Partners provide comprehensive reporting and analysis on the following on a monthly and termly basis:
Recruitment expenditure
Monthly sickness absence reporting to the wider senior/middle management teams
Monthly reporting on probationary employees
Staff turnover
Monthly headcount reporting
Develop HR dashboard requirements

Must have:
CIPD qualified
IT qualifications/database/HRD system experience
Comprehensive knowledge and experience of using HR Systems
Advanced Excel, with the ability to manipulate/analyse data

Salary £38,000 – £40,000 depending on previous experience
