Maintenance Engineer – c£38k – Nightshift

A well established plastic product manufacturing company based in Maldon are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work on their night shift working 4 on and 4 off 6pm to 6am. They are looking for you to come from a manufacturing/industrial or engineering background, have PLC experience and have a 17th edition certificate.

Maintain production machinery
Electrical fault finding on PLCs i.e Mitsubushi, Siemens, Omron etc,
Assist in implementing a TPM program as operating basis for the operation department,
Work on hydraulic and pneumatic,
MIG and ARC weld,
Responsible for the facility maintenance,
Undertake Preventative and reactive maintenance,
Carry out quality inspections,
Conduct root cause analysis.

ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar,
PLC fault finding experience
Be able to MIG and ARC Weld
Maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial or production background
Be able to read from mechanical drawings and use a lathe and mill to fabricate parts
Have an understanding of the electricity at work regulations, ideally have a 17th edition certificate.

Salary – £32,000 + 20% shift allowance – £38,400,
6pm to 6am on a 4 on, 4 off basis,
One hour break, taken as either 2 x 30 mins or 1 x 60 mins),
