Co-ordination of monthly general ledger close activities in adherence and deliverables and deadlines

Processing of accruals, prepayments in compliance with Finance policies and procedures

High level review of management accounts including the P&L account and Capital Expenditure

Query resolution and ad-hoc investigations/analysis as required

Financial control of balance sheet accounts, including investigation and clearance of aged and incorrect postings or other items in a timely manner

Liaison with different functions of the Finance Service, Payroll or Treasury for the resoloution of queries and problems

Control fo the annual budget and forecast process, including input onto budget system and Oracle, assistance with the creation of budgets

Pro-atively suggest improvements and develop best practices to improve the cost-effectiveness

Attend senior management and budget holder meetings as required

Assist other members as required
