Main function of role is to provide analysis and expertise in product washing processes to ensure manufactured and bought in components comply with engineering and customer specifications.  The role is to elevate the status of cleanliness so employees understand it is a core competence to success and the person appointed will develop the sites cleanliness, testing policies to enable a move away from batch release and onto process monitoring.

Quals & requirements:

Engineering or Modern apprenticeship qualification plus practical engineering & manufacturing experience is essential

Effective communication skills both verbal and written

Experience in a lab environment linked to high volume manufacturing is desirable

Knowledge of materials and examination techniqies would be desirable

Hours of work: Mon-Thur 7.30 - 16.30 and Fri 7.30 - 12.30

Salary in the region of £25k plus bens
