Field Equipment Engineer

Working for a well respected local company

Experience to include : Inspection, Repair and Testing of Lifting equipment.

Must have suitable Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background.

Able to travel throughout East Anglia.

The person should have served an engineering apprenticeship in fitting or equivalent. The position will include climbing lighting towers to a height of 100 ft to carry out visual inspections

Some inspection work would be carried out on ships lifting equipment at Harwich and Felixstowe

Additional duties will include testing, repair and inspection of all types of lifting equipment. Handling paperwork, telephones and the general public would be a daily requirement

Applicant must have engineering background and be familiar with lifting equipment, but on the job training will be given.
