Title:  Logistics Scheduler EC  


 


Reporting to:    Logistics Manager


 









Overview of role:


 


To support the Logistics Manager in the performance of his duties.


 


To undertake scheduling of all planned logistics activities in the most resource efficient and cost effective manner. To undertake mobilisation of logistics for emergency responses as required.


Maintain schedules of all planned and emergency activities undertaken and verify the accuracy and completeness of logistics and asset deployment records for onward transmission to other disciplines and/or entering onto the Company’s database.


 


Liaise with Commercial, Asset, Management Services and Accounts departments as required.


 



 









Key Responsibilities:


·         Communicating with appropriate departments to ensure effective data flow in both directions


·         Planning and coordinating all aspects of logistical activities from all the Company’s operational bases and sub-contracted storage facilities


·         Scheduling of vehicles, resources and people to service daily workload


·         To ensure that logistics resources are used in the most cost effective and efficient manner


·         To comply with the asset  deployment protocols


·         Logging all operations related data and assisting with management reports


·         Logging all asset deployment data and assisting with management reports


·         Logging all VOSA related data and assisting with management reports


·         Prompt conveyance of completed Delivery/Collection notes to Administration Assistant


·         To schedule spare resources that are available for emergencies


·         To undertake call handling and supervision of emergency incidents


·         Maintaining the water abstraction  database


 



 









Critical tasks:


Liaise with contracted vehicle service companies and Asset Manager to ensure that;


·         Vehicle inspections, servicing and routine disinfection is undertaken to programme


·         Major vehicle repairs are undertaken promptly and within budgets


 


·        Liaise with RHA to ensure compliance with all relevant VOSA and RT Legislation


·        To ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and on time


·        To ensure that all required management reports are accurate and submitted on time
