•To manage the day-to-day running of each customer account and deal with general enquiries

•To be the first point of contact for the company on the telephone

•To develop and maximise every sales opportunity on all daily orders (wherever possible)

•To ensure all new quotes and prices are implemented on Prospect (our computer system)

•To ensure any specific conversations with any relevance is inputted on customer notepads within Prospect

•To maintain average sales of accounts as reported in monthly reports

•To identify and request support for customers in specific areas (catalogues, courses, brand specific)

•To liaise with stores/warehouse in order to ensure ordering information is communicated efficiently and professionally

•To liaise with copper/fibre production in order to ensure customers are given accurate information for lead times

•To work with the proactive sales team to identify sales opportunities

•To process all orders on Prospect

•To pass on any potential sales opportunities when reactively received to the Sales Supervisor





The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing their own customer base and building and expand customer relationships. The day-to-day activities include taking enquiry’s via the phone, prepare quotes, processing and organizing orders. We are looking for a positive member to join a busy sales team – someone who is willing and proactive.







Essential Criteria:



•Telesales

•Positive attitude

•Cold calling experience is not essential but some experience in this field preferred.

•Computer literate – must be competent in Word, Excel, Windows and Microsoft Outlook – will be tested in interview

•Good outgoing personality over the phone

•Computer background required – whether it is hardware, cabling, software, peripherals etc.

•Selling experience of a product nature is essential, as the majority of our selling is for this type
