Electronics Engineer is required working within small friendly team reporting to the Development Manager.
The successful candidate will coordinate a team comprising of 2 other Electronics Engineers and will be responsible for all aspects of electronics design
The role will be hands-on, meaning that the candidate will be involved in the electronics design process itself in addition to coordinating the two other Electronics Engineers.
The rest of the Development team comprises 3 Software Engineers (1 firmware and 2 PC application software), 2 Mechanical Design Engineers and 1 Technical Author.
Responsibilities
Design of low power, portable, microprocessor controlled data loggers from concept through to production including Project Planning, Coordination of Electronics Engineers, Analogue design, Digital design, Prototype evaluation and testing
Product design (considering the overall product, including interfacing with other disciplines and areas such as EMC)
Embedded software development
Production Support, including liaising with sub-contractors
Fault finding and solving as and when necessary.
Qualifications:- Degree equivalent or higher qualification in Electronics
Knowledge of Team leading and planning, Digital design, Strong software/firmware skills in ‘C’, Low power analogue design, Measurement/sensor technologies
