Job description:


To produce computerised programmes for robotic welding and provide the necessary control for running the robot process cell on a day to day basis

Perform daily start-up checks, to produce the most efficient working programmes for robotic welding

To work closely with the designing and production of jigs & fixtures for future use

Monitoring of all robotic weld equipment to maintain their efficient use

Take ownership of any welding errors produced and eliminate those errors

Liase with personnel from both within, and outside the Company, to provide support for the maintenance of the robotic welding cell Ensure that safe working practices within the cell are adhered to at all times and to be able to work at the highest security level of the robot machinery (three levels for security and protection of programmes

Provide commitment to all company requirements and objectives in respect of weld production

To support other weld cells as required when operations demand


Training Completion of extensive and comprehensive programme training off company, to robot manufacturers standards- Motoman certificate. Trained in the use of ‘computerised’ weld power sources and their maintenance on a daily basis All training related to safe working practices. Must be a certified welder.
