M & E Co-ordinator

Attend progress meetings during the design and contract period

Provide reports at agreed intervals on the progress of the detailed design and working drawings

Monitor to ensure the M&E contractor provides the best service

Monitor contractor's technical, sample, and method statement submissions

Monitor the M&E contractors design calculations

Comment on contractor's proposals for safe method of working as appropriate for Health and Safety on site

Monitor the cleanliness of the installations for the mechanical systems including chemical cleaning and final water treatment

Assist Quantity Surveyors in the detailed preparation or examination of financial claims for M&E valuations and change in cost.

Minimum / preferred qualifications & professional status LCIBSE with minimum preferred experience or

ACIBSE membership or

AMIEE

Minimum / preferred skills Strong electrical bias with good understanding of mechanical systems, good understanding of site working and practical issues

Any other requirements Demonstrate understanding of IEE regulations 16th/17th edition
