Stores Operative required for Company in Dunmow:
To receive goods against outstanding Purchase Orders in line with due dates.
To inspect goods and check for compliance with both purchase order and advice note.
To raise, quarantine and chase the resolution of delivery discrepancies.
To identify and issue stock shortages as goods are received.
To service internal customers that visit Stores for parts.
To identify and report stock anomalies: to be advised to the Stores Supervisor.
To kit parts required in line with Material Requisitions (Kit Lists) for internal and external use.
To help facilitate and conduct the company
To perform weekly housekeeping duties, with specific attention to stock management.
Operation of company fork lift where applicable.
Delivery and collection of goods as required.
Ensuring the stores area is kept in good order in respect of tidiness and health & safety.
Requirements: Numerical, meticulous, previous experience of stock management. The ideal candidate will be developed to take on the role of Stores Supervisor. Counterbalance licence would be desirable.
