The major function of this Technical Assistant role is to work alongside the custom Diet Facility Manager, Nutritionists and technicians and also liaising internally and externally with clients to assist in diet quotation, development, production and supply.

You will also become the technical customer services 'face' of the business and a good proportion of your time will be expected to be spent liaising with clients as part of the Quality Management Systems. Working alongside the Product Manager and Quality Manager you will assist with the collation of large amounts of laboratory analysis data to produce certificates for a worldwide client base.

The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in Animal Science, Nutrition, Zoology or similar. You will be assertive, determined, have strong attention to detail, be able to work well within a team and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A keeness to be trained in all aspects of the role will undoubtedly lead to the success of this position.

Although not essential, the ability to speak a second language would be beneficial.

 Salary will be in the region of £20k +benefits.
