• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, prospective clients, potential strategic venture and technical partners/project collaborators both in the private and gov. sectors
• Manage clients' expectations, facilitate and respond to request for company information serve as resource person for new and existing business that includes maintaining information databases
• Facilitate clear internal and external communication at all levels to facilitate business development activities
• Manage the establishment and maintenance of the relevant business registrations to conduct the Company's business
• Source and evaluate new business opportunities and identify customer needs, a recommend tender submissions as appropriate.
• Develop business plans, objectives and strategies to secure business, including development of joint venture opportunities.
• Manage the preparation of Expression of Interest and Pre-Qualification documents to ensure that the Company is short-listed for targeted projects
• Facilitate the bid management process as and when required to ensure the preparation of a responsive and competitive bid
• Liaise with Divisional staff to ensure that negotiations and bids are compiled correctly
• Recommend specialist consultants for 'approval by the General Manager
• Review tender estimates, if required
• Provide assessment and review of alternative offer opportunities in tenders, if required
• Follow up of offers, post submission negotiations
• Effective hand over to Project Manager at Project Launch
• Maintain records of pre-contract activities
• Degree in Engineering or related field
• Possess excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• High competency of interpersonal skills, resourceful, energetic and self-motivated
