Key Account Controller - Techncial
This role involves a large amount of customer contact, various administration and scheduling/planning. Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering is required for this role
To support the Key Account Manager in maintaining existing and developing new business opportunities.
Dealing with all aspects of Service and Overhauls work from quotation through to invoice preparation
Delivery of first class customer support service
Key Activities
Maintain high level of custonmer service
General customer correspondance and Customer Desk Administration
Prompt and effective resolution to customer enquiries
Provide customers with accurate quotes and a level of technical support for potential remits
Ensure all necessary materials, tools and sub contract involvement have been organised
Relay all travel requirements to the relevant personnal to ensure correct bookings are made
Provide all engineers involved with the remit with a thorough briefing
Effective Project control of customer and financial requirements by maintaining a close working relationship with other departments
Ensure all relevant supporting paperwork (reports, component returns,expenses, timesheets etc) are completed to enable the closure of remits
Provide the relevant personnel with an invoice header and full visibility of all transactions to allow billing documents to be generated
Ensure order receipt and sales order processes are adhered to
Check order terms and conditions and contractual obligations, prior to order acknowledgement ensuring the company does not enter into an obligation that is unlikely to be fulfilled
Ensure that all procedures are complied with
Orders and sales information to be regularly provided to Key Account Manager for budgeting and forecasting purposes
Selling on of company sub contractor service to customer aiming to increase orders and sales
Cover the absence of the Supervisor when required
