The role of the Accounts Administrator is to manage the customer accounts relationships i.e. dealing with, and forming, close relationships with the customer’s accounts department personnel. The aim is to ensure accounts are invoiced correctly and are settled in a timely fashion so that customer debt is kept at a minimum.
Principle Responsibilities
Managing the input of customer payment via BACS, cheque and credit card - including daily banking.
Taking ownership of, and responding to customer queries.
Liaising with stores to ensure appropriate paperwork is received.
Proactive conversion of customers to electronic invoicing.
Preparing and submitting weekly financial reports into head office (or as required).
Overseeing production of invoices, reminder letters and credit notes.
Proactive debt chasing.
Carrying out any other associated tasks deemed necessary by Management.

Person Specification
The candidate should be someone who has a mature and flexible approach, be able to listen to customer queries and offer relevant solutions. Whilst working under pressure the candidate should be able to manage their own workflow and that of those individuals helping them with associated tasks. This involves keeping a sense of perspective (and humour) and a close working relationship with the rest of the team. At the same time they should ensure they maintain their attention to detail, crucial in helping control their time management as well as customer satisfaction.
The candidate should be able to communicate effectively at all levels both internally but also at customer and importantly, at client level.
The candidate should feel comfortable working in a service led environment and aspire to achieve and even improve the standards already being met team were finalists in the 2005 National Customer Service Awards Call Centre of the Year Award).
I need 1 permanent member of staff for a part time accounts administrator position Mon- Fri - 25 hours per week - hours: - 9:00 14:00 / 9:30-14:30 / 10:00-15:00.

Please peruse the Job description thoroughly, candidates will have to take a data entry, maths and Excel and Word tests and they will need to be used to using spread sheets. Therefore, they will need really good Excel skills
