Our client, a large distributor of electronic goods, based in Ipswich are looking for a Promotions and Marketing Assistant to join their busy Promotions Department.

As the Promotions and Marketing Assistant, you will be supporting the Manager in all areas of the department.

Job Description
Contacting suppliers via telephone and in person in order to negotiate new deals - This may require some travelling
Building relationships with the companies extensive portfolio of suppliers
Involvement in producing Monthly Promotional Brochures including the collation of information accurately, collating images, specifications and the proof reading of articles before they go to print.
General Administration as the position dictates.

Person Specification
You must have the ability to and experience of working to tight deadlines and in a pressurised environment.
You will be a committed hard worker and happy to work in a fast paced environment
You will be conscientious and have a responsible attitude.

This is a very varied role as the department responds and reacts to the ever changing Market.

You will have excellent computer skills
A solid history of working in an office environment is required
Previous promotions and purchasing experience would be an advantage, however not necessary as training will be given
Hours are 0830 - 1700 Monday to Friday

Salary is dependent on Experience.
