Switchboard Operator

(Initially 3 month contract)

My client is seeking a Switchboard Operator to assist in providing an efficient switchboard service to a busy switchboard.

Previous experience in handling high volume calls on a busy switchboard is essential.

You will be required to answer and extend inbound telephone calls quickly and efficiently.

Assist internal/external clients in ensuring the calls are directed to the correct party

The Switchboard handles around 2,000 - 3,000 calls a day

The switchboard is open from 8.00am - 6.30pm Monday - Friday on a shift basis over a 7 week period (eg 8.00am - 4.00pm / 10.30am - 6.30pm) 35 hour week

Previous experience in operating a Fujitsu System is advantageous

This is initially a 3 month contract.

Customer Services Assistant

You will be required to facilitate all Customer Services activities, ensuring that all processes are carried out with maximum efficiency, effectiveness and quality of service in line with company policy.

Acting as first line of contact within Customer Services for receiving sales orders from customers via telephone, fax and email. Checking the system every hour for new sales orders and entering them onto the system for the warehouse to process for the daily picking and despatch operations to ensure customer deadlines are achieved.

Communicating with customers to inform them of any sales order discrepancies, out of stock issues or delays in despatching goods

Liaising with customers and Business Development Manager/Distributors to resolve any queries on orders, prices, stock, delivery, general enquiries, sample requests

Update customer price lists as and when required

Previous customer service experience is essential

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Working knowledge of Sage 200 or equivalent

HR Generalist (6 Month Contract)

My client is seeking a HR Generalist (CPP qualified or equivalent) for a 6 month project to assist the HR Manager in implementing and imbedding a new HR function to support the business. This will be achieved primarily through carrying out start up related projects, day to day duties and carrying out all administrative support.

Duties:

Carry out all associated planning and administration related to development workshops

Transfer of all employees onto a standard company contract of employment

The typing up and tracking of job descriptions for company personnel

Re-branding of standard Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents

Building and maintenance of human resources drive

Assisting the HR Manager in recruitment campaign(s)

The compilation of HR directories

Assist the HR Manager in Company wide benchmarking exercise

Other Duties

Undertake and assist in monthly payroll administration and reconciliation

All administration on behalf of the HR function

Previous experience in minute taking in employee relations meetings

My client is seeking a Team Assistant/Administrator for a 9 month fixed term contract.

You will be required to provide administrative and budgetary support to Project Managers and their teams. Working knowledge of Sharepoint .

You will be required:-

Manage and maintain all project databases and records including the creation of Project reports for Project Meetings and other ad hoc reporting requests

Provide administrative support and reporting assistance to Project Teams

Arrange and co-ordinate meetings and functions for Project Teams

Management and maintenance of budgets, using formulae in Excel

Requirements

Accounts Assistant

Ensure that all purchase orders and supplier invoices are attached and processed

accurately. All discrepancies arising from this process are resolved and where

needed credit note requests are raised.

 Ensure that all invoices within designated responsibility are correctly

authorised, coded and posted

 Record all cheque and direct debit payment transactions

 To ensure all payments are allocated accordingly and any debit balances are

investigated

 Ensure all supplier queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently

 To perform a monthly reconciliation of purchase ledger balances to supplier

statements

 Assist With Month-end Procedures

 To enter data relating to purchase ledger into cash book

Sales Ledger

To ensure all invoicing is actioned accurately and on a timely basis.

 To process transactions in a timely and accurate manner to ensure accuracy

and completeness of data at all times.

 Monitor and process various bank transactions.

 Investigate and resolve credit balances ensuring allocation is kept up to date.

 Prepare reconciliations of the ledgers and data as required to do so.

 To work to agreed work plans to achieve set deadlines and objectives.
