Prime Appointments was founded in Witham in 1992 by Robyn Holmes and Margaret Locke. Their intention was to create an agency that offered a level of service and support to both clients and candidates that was second to none in the local area, Robyn is proud to be able to say this has been achieved over the last 19 years.
Prime Appointments has now an enviable reputation in the local market place , being able to boast that we supply a third of local business’s with their staff
The values of honesty and integrity upon which the Company were founded are maintained today. The Company prides itself on being large enough to cope with all of the recruitment needs of its clients, but small enough to offer an unparalleled recruitment experience.

Robyn Holmes - Managing DirectorRobyn and her fellow Director, Margaret Locke, founded Prime Appointments in 1992 in the same Witham offices that the company still occupies. In 2008 Margaret retired and Robyn is now Managing Director. With 27 years of recruitment experience Robyn is totally committed to continuing the growth of the business. Robyn’s role sees her time divided between the Witham office and the Sudbury branch which opened in January 2008. In Robyn’s management role she is only too aware of the need to be able to adapt and react quickly in what is now a fast changing recruitment market place. Witham & Sudbury Branches |

Chris van Aalst - Financial DirectorAfter 12 years of service to Prime Appointments as a Consultant Management Accountant, Chris accepted the offer of a Directorship in 2008. She has been responsible for all aspects of the companies Financial accounting since 1996. As a Director Chris assists Robyn with the day to day management but is also key to strategic and financial planning for the future. With her in depth accounting knowledge and experience within the Company Chris is a vital part of Prime Appointments future development and growth. Witham Branch |

Colin Trenfield - Operations DirectorColin joined Prime Appointments in 2002 bringing with him more than 20 years in industrial recruitment having worked at management level for an independent recruitment company with a small group of branch offices. Colin is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Industrial Division, ensuring that both clients and candidates alike are protected by employment law and comply with current legislations, whilst maintaining excellent client relations and a loyal candidate database. In August 2010 Colin was rewarded for his dedication and loyalty to Prime with a Directorship. Whilst still managing the Industrial team Colin is now also responsible for wider issues within the company and he spends one day a week at our Sudbury branch. Witham & Sudbury Branches |

Fiona Faircloth – Social Care Manager – Manager of Sudbury OfficeFiona has 10 years recruitment experience in Social Care. She has recruited staff right across the diverse industry sector, from junior level to managerial staff, including head hunting as necessary. Fiona has placed temporary and permanent staff and has consistently maintained high vetting standards required in this industry sector. She joined Prime in 2011 to create our Social Care division. Ben Bridle – Technical and Engineering ConsultantBen is based at our Witham office and manages the Technical and Engineering Division. Ben works with our existing clients handling any permanent requirements that they may have. Ben has 8 years recruitment experience, specializing in Construction and Technical and Engineering vacancies. Ben has a sound knowledge of all Technical Engineering roles coupled with an excellent knowledge of East Anglia, so you can be assured you can rely on Ben to either find you the perfect job, or alternatively the perfect candidate for your vacancy. Melanie Perks - Commercial ConsultantMelanie has recruitment experience working for a global blue chip company recruiting temporary staff to work on local commercial and National contracts. Melanie has excellent interviewing and selection skills placing candidates in positions across the spectrum. She joined Prime in 2009 and works on both temporary and permanent assignments for commercial applicants, utilising her experience to place candidates in the most suitable roles. Suzanne Coles - Commercial ConsultantSuzanne has been with Prime Appointments since 2002 and has a total understanding of the company, having spent time working in various divisions. She is now established as a Commercial Consultant working on our permanent and temporary vacancies. Christopher Mason - Industrial ConsultantChris joined us in 2010 and is a key member of our industrial team. His background in Sales & Customer Service are perfect for the variety of roles that this division handles. Chris works alongside our Operations Director, Colin Trenfield and is responsible for maximizing the candidate opportunities not only from within our extensive database, but also by sourcing, interviewing and placing new candidates to ensure our clients needs are always met. Jack O’Brien – Trainee Industrial ConsultantJack O’Brien is the newest recruit to our industrial team. On completion of his education Jack worked for six months on a ski season and for one year in a call centre in a customer service role. This experience coupled with his interpersonal skills make him an ideal person to work alongside Colin Trenfield and Christopher Mason in our Witham based division. Ann Rowe - Accounts SupervisorAnn joined Prime Appointments in 2000 and is a key member of our established and experienced accounts team. She is responsible for our Credit Control and Purchase Ledger functions. Ann also supervises the Payroll function. Donna Maiden - Branch SecretaryDonna joined Prime in 1994 and as well as being one of our longest serving employees she is also a key member of our team. Evey company needs a Donna because there is very little that Donna doesn’t know about Prime Appointments! She assists the Managing and Financial Director’s with their admin and organisation. Sue Le Compte - AccountsSue joined Prime in 1999 and is a valuable member of our accounts team. She looks after our busy payroll function dealing patiently with numerous temps who fail to complete their time sheets correctly!! Jamie Aiello – Office AssistantJamie has recently joined our Witham Branch as an apprentice and will complete her NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in Business and Administration. Helen Osborne - Technical, Engineering & FinanceHelen has recently joined us and will head up the Technical and Engineering desk in Sudbury, whilst also working on finance positions. Helen’s previous recruitment experience was in London with a leading PLC specialist international recruitment company. Here Helen was responsible for permanent financial and accounting recruitment for the retail sector. Prior to London she worked in the companies Cambridge office on the finance desk. Educated in Norfolk, Helen went on to complete her degree at Loughborough University. Sudbury Branch |
