Technical and Engineering Recruitment Specialists

Jack joined Prime Appointments in 2011 and has quickly progressed to manage and head up our large Technical and Engineering Division. He has recently completed a L4 Diploma in Management and Leadership which has helped him to ensure that he has an effective and happy team.

Always friendly and very approachable Jack has established and built strong partnerships with clients and candidates, enabling him to deliver a truly consultative approach. In his spare time, outside of work Jack is a keen sportsman and particularly loves Rugby often sporting a black eye or a bandage after an enthusiastic performance! 

Julia has 15 years of consultancy experience working mainly in Commercial and Technology sectors, specialising in the recruitment of Technical and Engineering staff. Her natural interest in how things work means she quickly understand technical ideas and concepts.

Julia prides herself on getting to know her clients and their business, developing great partnerships. Julia always ensures she gives her full support to both client and candidate throughout the whole recruitment process, really listening and identifying at the outset the needs of both parties. 

Her many hobbies include singing in a jazz band and a love of rugby. After a number of years leading the Witham Amazons to victory as Captain, she hung up her boots and took on the challenge of becoming Chairman for the whole club. Nowadays, she can be found cheering the team on from the touchline most weekends! 

Chris has worked with Prime Appointments since 2010 and quickly progressed within the Industrial Division to Senior Consultant. Chris has a wealth of knowledge and experience in temporary recruitment, he has transferred his know-how and great customer service to our Technical & Engineering Division where he recruits skilled candidates for permanent roles.

Chris is a key member of our team, well-respected and trusted by his colleagues and clients. In his personal time Chris teaches karate and martial combat and can often be found at the gym keeping in shape. He is passionate about kayaking, also visiting and roaming the Suffolk countryside with his wonderful rescue dog Lola.

Simon is based at our Witham office, working across both our Technical & Engineering and Construction divisions. Specialising mainly within the engineering sector Simon is responsible for placing highly skilled candidates into permanent vacancies across Essex and beyond.Simon has developed strong client partnership relationships based on providing reliable advice on the job market within technical and engineering roles.

Simon is passionate about F1, football and politics – his keen interest and views on current affairs often make for interesting conversation in the lunch room! One of our more modest team members, he professes to be a talented singer and plays the guitar….. although we are yet to hear him sing!

Carl works on the Technical & Engineering desk primarily on temporary positions. Carl joined us in 2015 after graduating from Portsmouth University. He has developed an impressive technical knowledgeable across a high number of skilled roles within the sector, professional, friendly and highly efficient Carl can be relied on to fill roles quickly with quality staff.

Outside of work Carl is a keen amateur marathon runner, he is passionate about all sport (even darts and snooker!). Missing out on a gap year Prime granted Carl a 9 month sabbatical to travel the globe last year, it’s great to have him back! An avid supporter of Real Ale he can often be found at beer festivals checking out interesting artisan beers.

Holly’s role has been varied supporting many aspects of our business since joining Prime Appointments in 2014. Holly has a career background in Customer Service and takes great pride in meeting and exceeding clients, candidates and colleagues expectations through good communication and going the extra mile. She now combines her interest in all things technical by resourcing for the Technical & Engineering team.

Holly loves all things fashion and makeup and regularly hits the shops. She is a big Emma Bridgewater fan and a keen Cath Kidston collector!

Roberta brings a passion for great customer service and excellent attention to detail to her role on the Technical & Engineering desk here at Prime. She joined Prime after 2 years working in retail as an Assistant Manager after having graduated from university with a 2.1 in Drama and Theatre studies. Her degree has been great preparation for life on the Technical & Engineering desk, as it has helped her absorb complex information about the sector. Her customer service and theatre experience have given her strong communication skills, which are invaluable in connecting with candidates and clients alike. 

She is an outgoing and positive person who brings a sense of fun to the Technical & Engineering team. If she could choose one superpower, she would like to be able to teleport, so she could go anywhere in the world… and be back in time for her morning meetings. Her secret talent is that she knows the lyrics to every single S Club 7 song, being a musical and outgoing type! She prides herself on always being approachable, friendly and professional. 

With 7 years’ experience recruiting across the engineering and, earlier, the education sector, Victoria is highly experienced in her field. She is a passionate and dedicated individual who prides herself on her excellent attention to detail and tireless work ethic. A skilled and trustworthy communicator, she enjoys building and nurturing relationships with both candidates and clients. Over the years of her experience in recruitment, she has proven this time and again by managing expectations from the outset. She is thrilled to join one of Prime’s biggest divisions and looks forward to building on her already in-depth knowledge of the technical and engineering sector. 

Her secret is that she is an accomplished portrait artist – a fitting hobby given her knack for painting a picture of, and then sourcing, the ideal candidates for anyone’s role!
