Account Manager - Subscriptions Data Analysis
I am currently working with a publishing services bureau, that work for some of the UK's most well-known publishers, as well as a large number of specialist publishers. The are looking for an Account Manager and Data expert with strong communication skills, to Account Manage and look after a key account for this impressive business. As an Account Manager you will be involved in the day to day management of a key client account, dealing with paid magazine subscriptions, free circulation and event databases.
*To act as the main point of contact for the client; building and maintaining strong relationships
*Holding regular conference calls and catch up meetings with allocated clients
*To help maintain and update the CRM system and manage the renewals and issue run processes for clients
*Conduct data analyses and selections using FastStats (previous use desirable but not essential)
*Manage client work using our Project Management System, JIRA (previous use desirable but not essential), ensuring all work is quoted for and PO's retained for invoicing
*Understanding how the client's data drives their subscriptions and marketing campaigns, working with them to ensure that the data is used, handled and stored in the best way possible for them.
*Producing and checking reports and analyses for clients, understanding the different methodologies by client
*To gain knowledge of ABC/BPA audit requirements
*Liaison with internal departments, set up of new processes/suggesting developments to improve working practices
*Acting as a secondary support on client accounts where required
A suitable candidate will¦
*Have good working knowledge of the Microsoft office (in particular Excel and Access) & an aptitude to learn new databases & software systems
*Must have experience in data management/analysis (cleaning, formatting, reporting)
*Previous experience as an Account manager in a similar role.
*Be diligent, conscientious and well organised with good time management skills
*Have good inter-personal skills with a willingness to be flexible & carry out extra duties outside normal role
*Be willing to learn and to acquire new skills
*Be a strong problem solver and logical thinker, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to resolve queries
*Have the ability to multi-task and manage their own workload, prioritising accordingly
*Understand statistics with the ability to write reports using Excel
*Enjoy working in a fast-paced and sometimes pressured environment
*Must have own transport due to location

*Hours - Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week, Normal hours would be 9.00 am to 5.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch (except during busy periods when flexible hours will be required)
