Working for an international company who are in the forefront of developing ventilation systems and controls the Area Sales Manager will develop current customer relationships and seek out new customers to increase the company's share of the market. The company have been establish for over 100 years and have over 3000 staff worldwide supplying OEM's with a variety of innovative products. If you have extensive experience selling fans or fan related products and is used to working unsupervised from home then this could be the opportunity you have been looking for.
Develop sales of specific fans and fan-related products.
Develop relationships with existing Customers and contacts.
Find prospective new Customers, establishing and developing relationships with them.
Broaden the Customer base inside the Wales & SW England territory.
Maintain and develop Customer accounts once established to maximise turnover and margins, through regular visits and other contacts.
Provide solutions for Customers' air movement problems.
Constantly increase technical knowledge base through the attendance of training events at the company's UK and European manufacturing facilities.
Attend appropriate exhibitions and seminars to further product knowledge and market knowledge.
Provide timely written feedback on Customer visits.
Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets for the defined territory.
Must have a proven and demonstrable track record of selling fans and fan-related products into an OEM environment
Extensive experience of sales
Capable of working largely unsupervised from home, with technical, administrative and commercial support provided by head office.
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills required
Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
Must be self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
Negotiable, commensurate with experience, knowledge and competencies.
An on-target bonus system applies, payable as a commission, one month in arrears.
Hours of work: Monday-Thursday 8am to 5pm with 30 minutes lunch, Friday 8am to 3pm with 1 hours lunch - does require some out of hours working at times
