Our valued client based in Colchester are a traditional joinery company, due to continued growth their team are expanding! We are looking to recruit an experienced Bench Joinerto join their growing team. The successful applicant will get the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects including curved staircases, circular windows and sliding sash windows. If you’re looking for variety in your role and have experience and understanding of curved work then this could be the bench Joiner role for you.
Duties:
- Bench based workshop
- Work on projects from setting out right through to final assembly
- May be required to assist with installation on site
- Working on hand crafted bespoke joinery
Experience required:
- Previous experience working on hand crafted bespoke joinery
- An understanding of curved work
- Must have experience working on curved staircases
- Estimating/Pricing experience would be advantageous
- You will be required to have your own hand tools
- Due to location of site you will need your own transport
- Comfortable working in a small team
