Prime Appointments are looking for a Care Assistant who is an enthusiastic professional to work day shifts at an Elderly Residential home located in central Mildenhall. Our ideal candidate will be able to uphold the standards of the client's policies and procedures along with providing the best care possible for the residents by providing a personal service.
The Care Assistant position involves:
- Personal care
- General housekeeping
- Following residents care plans
- Regular COVID-19 testing
- Opportunity to receive COVID - 19 vaccine (at candidates choice)
- Full supply of PPE
- Completing and maintaining medical notes
- Assisting with mealtimes
- Participating in daytime activities
Requirements of the role:
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- DBS application will be made as part of application
- Professional experience within the care industry
About the client and role:
- 29 service users
- Nursing for elderly
- 8am - 8pm
- Central location - driver not essential
- Rated overall "Good" by CQC
- Also a day centre
- £9p/h
- Day and night shifts required
- 36 hours a week
