Prime Appointments are looking for a candidate who will be able to provide the best care possible for the residents by providing a personal service along with upholding the standards of the client's policies and procedures. We are looking for an enthusiastic professional Care Assistant to work in an Elderly Residential home for night shifts.
The Care Assistant position involves:
- Personal care
- Completing and maintaining medical notes
- Assisting with mealtimes
- General housekeeping
- Following residents care plans
- Regular COVID-19 testing
- Opportunity to receive COVID - 19 vaccine (at candidates choice)
- Full supply of PPE
Main details about the client and role:
- 29 Service Users
- Nursing for Elderly
- 8pm - 8am
- Central location - driver not essential
- Rated overall "Good" by CQC
- Also a day centre
- £9p/h
- Day and night shifts required
- 36 hours a week
Requirements of the role:
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- DBS application will be made as part of application
- Professional experience within the care industry
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
