Care Worker - Drivers Needed!

Prime Appointments work with a range of residential homes across the local area; most look after the elderly and others provide care in a supported living environment.You'll be in a great position to earn good money and make a real difference to people's lives. Most of our roles do require personal care and physical work. There may even be an element of housekeeping involved as well.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Care Worker in the Colchester area to join our team and be part of a continued high quality service. Looking for flexible hours, great rates of pay, paid holiday and yearly pay increases? This role would be perfect for you

PAY!

  • Day rates from £9.10 - £10.00 per hour
  • Night rates from £9.40 - £12.00 per hour
  • Bank holidays £13.00 - £15.00 per hour

As part of the recruitment for the Care Worker role, we require:

  • **Experience in the industry is essential** and recent training is preferred - we can recommend online top up training courses if registration is offered.
  • An Enhanced DBS (preferably on the update service). If yours has expired or you haven't had one, we can apply on your behalf (cost needs to met by applicant).
  • To clear your for work we need to cover 5 years worth of referencing history.
  • Full UK Drivers License and access to own car is preferred - due to some of the locations of clients

Your role:

  • You will play an integral role in the everyday lives of the residents we support for our valued clients.
  • Assist residents with their physical and emotional needs, you will do whatever it takes to help them get the most out of life.
  • You will ensure that the resident's quality of life and well-being are nurtured and looked after.
  • More than just a carer, you will be a true friend who champions the resident's dignity and maximise their independence
  • You will need to be empathetic, patient and caring, ensuring that the residents you provide care for receive the best care possible.
