An expanding engineering firm based on the outskirts of Colchester, Essex are recruiting for a Coded Welder to join their team.
This is a permanent role, working Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 5:00pm with an early finish on Friday

They have been established for over a century, manufacture boilers for a variety of industries and have a fantastic reputation across Europe and beyond.
What does the position entail:
You will be required to MIG weld boilers to coded standards, whilst doing quality checking and inspection work. Predominately welding stainless steel or alloy steel, with thicknesses varying depending on the products. This position will also be workshop based.
Qualifications/skills required:
- Must hold a 6G coded welding qualification
- Background working to ASME Section IX standards (Boiler and pressure vessel code) is needed
- 3 years' experience working as a Coded Welder
- Will ideally have TIG/MMA/MIG welding skills
- Strong Communication skills
