A global company who work on some of the highest profile projects such as Eurofighter Typhoon and the CERN large hadron collider are expanding and are keen to recruit an Equipment Engineer within their Space Imaging division to ensure their equipment remains in excellent condition and able to produce the highest standard of Imaging products for their customers. If you want to work in an exciting company who are developing cutting edge technology, have previous equipment engineering experience and are able to pass security clearance then this could be your ideal role.
Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to equipment. This is housed within three clean areas and supplies silicon image sensors into specialised applications
Provide day to day maintenance support to the production shifts resolving equipment or facilities issues that stop production
Deal with equipment from all areas of silicon wafer processing and packaging including implant and dry etch (AMAT,Lam,Axcelis), furnacing(SVG),deposition (sputter & evaporation), probe (EG), wafer thinning (Disco & Sez), Saw (Disco), pick & place & bonding equipment
Prepare and carry out preventative maintenance schedules
Prepare and maintain health and safety paperwork for equipment and processes within the processing areas
Liaise with facilities and sub-contractors for install of new equipment or facilities within the clean areas.
HND/HNC or higher in electronics or mechanical engineering
Experience of equipment maintenance and fault finding to component within a semiconductor processing facility preferred
Experience of trouble-shoot electronics at component level, fault find vacuum systems and small robotic systems.
Demonstrated problem solving abilities.
Strong personal accountability with a team working ethic and desire for timely completion of tasks
Outstanding attention to detail
Experience of following engineering drawings & technical instructions

6% matched pension
Hours double day shift 6.00am 2.30pm and 2.00pm 10.30pn alternate weeks Monday to Friday
