IT Support Technician - (1st/2nd Line) - Haverhill - £25,000 - £27,000.
Prime Appointments are currently partnering with a leading organisation based in Haverhill who are looking to for an IT Support Technician to join their growing technology team. As the IT Support Technician, you will be providing technical assistance and support to the user community for data, voice, video, hardware and software.
We are looking to chat with experienced IT Support individuals with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Products as well as Active Directory and Exchange environments. Experience in troubleshooting/repairing desktops and laptops is essential and experience with computer imaging and helpdesk ticketing software would be a plus.
Manage incoming helpdesk tickets, determining urgency and assigning them to the appropriate IT resource.
Monitors, adds, updates and maintains IT helpdesk tickets.
Properly document all ticket resolutions and follow up with all parties involved to ensure the problem was corrected to their satisfaction.
Monitor computer software and hardware operating status; ensure that computers, printers, and other peripherals are in operating order as well as performing hardware and software maintenance, when necessary.
Set up & install new equipment which may include Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Network equipment, etc.
Assist users with general computer software problems/questions and escalate to the appropriate person when necessary.
