Are you a Machine Operator looking to work for a growing manufacturing company? We have a permanent role in Clacton-on-Sea for a family business with over 60 years' experience in the manufacturing industry.
Your main duty will be to set and operate the machinery in accordance with the manufacturing instructions.
Duties:
- Ensure that all raw materials are correctly stored
- Set/operate the machinery in accordance with guidelines
- Clean all tooling directly after use and return it to the allocated safe storage area
- Ensure that all areas are kept clean, tidy, and unobstructed at all times
- Observe all Departmental Procedures and applicable Working Practices
- This is a physically demanding role
- Must be willing to work shifts, early, lates and nights
Experience required:
- Experience with moulding presses and sintering ovens would be advantageous
- Any know of screw extrusion machinery would be beneficial
- Knowledge of process engineering
- Desire to work in a manufacturing environment
