A growing manufacturer of automotive components are looking for Upholsterers to join their business.
We are looking for people who have experience sewing, cutting and gluing leather and alcantara on products such as pull straps, seats and gators. You must have upholstery or trimming experience to be considered.
The job is working in a very clean environment with up to date machinery. For a growing company, they have kept a tight knit and helpful team.
The pay is up to £16ph working 8am till 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime is available. Annual pay reviews.
Upholsterer duties:-
- Covering panels using various material such as leather and alcantara
- Sewing different types and styles on products such as pull straps, seats and gators
- Using machinery like Spay gun, embossing machine, heat presses etc
- Cutting and inspection of leather
- Using different types of glues
- Read from technical drawings and follow control plan documents
This Upholsterer position is a permanent role subject to you passing a 12 week probation.
