A busy multi-disciplined design agency specialising in space planning, building and land surveying, planning applications, building control, branding, concept, product and interior design are looking to recruit a Junior CAD Planner / Designer. Duties
- Carry out and support Senior CAD Technicians and Project Executives with store surveying
- Drawing existing and proposed CAD layouts
- Carrying out amendments, plan printing and production of photo sheets.
- Sending and receiving data electronically
- Various other admin related duties, including creation of and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets.
Skills & Experience
- AutoCAD and/or Microstation experience required
- Adobe suite experience is preferred
- Revit experience preferred
- Good working knowledge of Illustrator, Word and Excel
- Good numeracy and literacy are essential skills.
- Driving licence essential.
- Must be willing to travel and stay away overnight when required.
- Candidates need to be well motivated, good team players with good communication skills and problem solving skills.
- Must be willing to learn and take on new challenges.
- Be flexible both in the office and on surveys.
Benefits
- Hours 8.30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday with ½ hour lunch.
