My client, is an award-winning property based company, they are seeking a Lettings Consultant to join one of their busiest teams based in Colchester.
The role of a lettings Consultant provides an essential service, not only to customers, but also their internal branch network, and is well suited to an individual who want to be stretched and challenged during their working day. Some of the daily tasks are:
Liaise with Potential new tenants and will need to, ask lots of questions to build up a detailed understanding of what is important to them.
Matching tenants and their specific requirements to a suitable property
Generate viewing appointments
Liaising with fellow colleagues in other internal departments as well as outside third parties .
Undertake other duties such as visiting potential landlords to conduct market valuations, promoting and negotiating related charges and agreeing terms.
Must have at least 6 month's industry experience
A strong desire to consistently deliver results at the highest level.
The ability to interact with people from all walks of life and gather information effectively is essential.
Tenacious and enthusiastic
Highly organised and working to strict timescales.
Excellent communication skills are paramount.
Strong presentation and negotiating skills
MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE
Full time position - 5 days a week, including Saturdays
Basic salary £15,000 - £17,000 plus commission and bonuses. OTE £19,000 - £20,000
Car allowance, depending on experience.
