An engineering company located in Ipswich, Suffolk are seeking a Manual Machinist to join their team, this position has arisen due to continued growth.
Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience

This is a manufacturer and supplier of specialist state of the art machinery, they have been established for over a quarter of a century, are a family run company and have a great reputation throughout East Anglia and beyond.
Day to day duties:
You will be reporting to the production manager on a daily basis, using Milling machines and Butler Elgamill Lathe Machines within their large join our Machine Shop. You will be required to machine components out of mild steel and aluminium to engineering drawings.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, a good time-keeper and have a keen eye for detail.
Applicant requirements
must be able to read from engineering drawings
NVQ/Diploma or diploma within mechanical engineering
Experience working on Butler Elgamill's would be advantageous but is not essential
Will ideally have at least 2/3 years' experience working as a manual machinist
Company benefits:
Time and one third during the week
Time and one half on Saturday
Sunday double time!
