A world leader in aerospace component manufacturingÂ are currently searching for an experienced apprentice served Manufacturing Engineer to undertake tasks related to their tool room. If you have toolmaking experience, then get in touch.
Design, development and manufacture of development and production standard tooling
Overhaul and maintenance of production standard tooling
Design and completion of product related repair schemes
Manufacture of small batch proof of concept / development parts
Ensuring that the working environment is safe for the activities to be carried out in that area
Ensure Health & Safety policies are being correctly observed and that all company rules and regulations are met.
Experience in milling/turning grinding and heat treatment processes and appreciation for milling/turning and fabrication processes is essential
Maths/English GCSE, (or equivalent) at grade C or above essential
Extensive tool making experience is required.
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
