Develop sales of lift motors and associated electronic drive products, and other electric motor-related products.
Furthering relationships with existing customers and contacts within the market.
Seek out prospective new customers, establishing and developing relationships to broaden the customer base.
Maintain and develop customer accounts once established, to maximize turnover and margins through regular visits, other contacts and the provision of solutions for customers' problems related to lift motor and electronic drive-related issues.
Constantly increase technical knowledge base through the attendance of training events at in the UK and at European manufacturing facilities.
Attend appropriate exhibitions and seminars to acquire further product knowledge and market knowledge.
Provide regular, timely written feedback on customer visits via the adopted CRM application.
Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets for lift motor and associated electronic drive business, and other electric motor-related business in the defined territory.
Must have a proven and demonstrable track record of of selling lift motors and associated electronic drives, and other electric motor products.
Extensive experience of sales
Capable of working largely unsupervised from home, with technical, administrative and commercial support provided by head office.
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills required
Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
Must be self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
Negotiable, commensurate with experience, knowledge and competences.
An on-target bonus system applies, payable as a commission, one month in arrears.
Hours of work: Monday-Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 3pm with 30 minutes lunch does require some out of hours working at times
