Are you a Panel Wirer who can work from schematics and layout drawings to build switchgear and control panels. If so this well-established design and manufacturing company will be keen to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join friendly, hardworking team.
Duties:
Working from schematic and mechanical drawings to assemble Low Voltage Switchgear, Distribution Boards and Control Panels to customer requirements and deadlines.
Installation of copper bus-bars as required, completing panel layouts and wiring.
Responsible for maintaining product continuity and quality
Working effectively with other staff members and adhering to Health and Safety legislation and in compliance with the company policies, procedures at all times.
Experience:
Must have previous experience of panel building/wiring required
Accurate measuring and numeracy skills
Good attention to detail and high standards of work ethic
Must be punctual and reliable
Must be able to work in a team
Experience of working in a busy engineering or manufacturing environment
Driving licence preferred
Benefits:
Salary circa £22,000 + overtime
Performance related bonus
Paid overtime
Hours - 8.30-5.00 Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunch and 2 x 15 minute tea breaks (flexible working available)
28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays rising to 33 days with service
