A world leader in aerospace component manufacturing are currently looking to recruit a Principal Product Integrity Engineer to provide support and specifically stress and reliability support across their product development programmes. If you have a mechanical design degree or similar, have stress analysis experience for metallic structures and FEA experience then we want to hear from you.
Be responsible for stress, simulation, reliability and other staff assigned to the team
Manage and direct the stress, thermal management and reliability activities for all programmes
Preparation of technical data such as stress reports, reliability reports, test plans etc.
Maintain schedules and resource plans to support the design, in-service assessment and ongoing enhancement of product integrity
Carry out structural analysis, thermal management, reliability analysis and system safety analysis.
Maintain and develop in-house technical capabilities and tools required to support ongoing product integrity improvements.
Be responsible for FEA, CFD, reliability, analysis and material selection
Identification and management of external resources
Assist programming and engineering teams with the creation of qualification and verification test plans and to support programme and design reviews as appropriate
Assist in identifying methods for continuous improvements
BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Extensive experience of stress analysis metallic structures
Extensive experience of FEA static, vibration and dynamic
Reliability, thermal and fatigue analysis is highly desirable
Must have excellent computer skills Microsoft tools
Hours Monday to Thursday 8am 5pm Friday 8am 1pm
