Sales Operative - Braintree - Salary competitive
Do you have experience of Sales within the electrical wholesale industry? If so a busy wholesale/online sales company are looking to recruit a Sales Operative to work at their Braintree office.
Answering incoming telephone calls that come into the sales desk
Role will involve calling on regular spending accounts, re-contacting and activating dormant accounts and calling potential new customers
Taking orders and scheduling delivery - most of these orders get delivered by the company's fleet of vehicles so will need to consider locality and other commitments.
Selling products to customers, whilst maximising profit by using appropriate margins etc.
Dealing with any general enquiries/ stock availability questions and queries etc.
Ask questions on a pro-active basis and take down information accurately in order to service the customer's requirements.
Deal with other enquires as designated by the head of the sales team, which will come in via email/ phone/ fax etc.
Log orders correctly and complete on time as required, in order to meet customer demands. Producing quotes
Dealing with suppliers and negotiating prices
To be considered for this Sale Operative role, you need below skills & experience :
Essential that you have previously worked within the electrical industry
Electrical wholesale experience preferred
Strong sales ability
Must be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing
Must be commercially aware.
You will need to demonstrate that you can build a rapport with customers
Trade counter experience would also be considered.
Good IT skills
Hours on a rota basis 7.30am 5.30pm with 1 in 4 Saturdays 8.00am 1.00pm.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
