We are looking for a Stores Person for an immediate start in Great Dunmow, Essex.
Due to increasing production demands, the company are on the hunt for a permanent stores person to support their production team.
Stores Person duties include:
- Maintain the stores in a professional manner ensuring the computer records are accurately maintained in accordance with the company procedures
- Daily booking in and out of components, kits & finished products to achieve on time delivery of customer's orders
- Regularly reconcile physical stock to computerised records
- Identify and record problems with bills of material or assemblies to conform with ISO9001
- Book in goods received
- Pack & dispatch completed orders
- Be responsible for own health and safety and personal development, keeping up to date with relevant issues in relation to job role and to demonstrate good housekeeping of the warehouse
Previous warehouse / stores experience is essential, but some training will be provided. You must be computer literate & ideally familiar with stock control (SAP) systems.
38 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 with a 15:45 finish on Fridays.
Competitive hourly rate depending on the candidate's skill level.
Due to location own transport is required.
This is a permanent, full time position subject to a successful 3-month probation period.
