Rated "Good" by the CQC, our client is looking for someone to fit their high standards of care. We are looking for a female Support Worker to work night shifts for our supported living/ learning disability facility in Colchester that look after residents from 18 upwards with Learning Disability, Autism, Bipolar, Epilepsy and can have challenging behaviours. You will be working the first 13 weeks through Prime Appointments and then go permanent to the client after this period of time
About the position/ client:
- 18-27 hours a week / 2/3 nights a week at 9 hours
- Pay is £10 Monday to Friday and £10.50 weekends once permanent
- Rated "Good" by the CQC
- Personal care is involved in the role
- Residents with Learning Disability, Autism, Bipolar, Epilepsy and can have challenging behaviour
- Male and female residents
- Supported living/ learning disability facility
- Provides support to adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, sensory impairments and associated complex needs
- 20 Residents
- Shift times - 22:00-07:00
- Residents aged 18+

The Support Worker role requires a candidate with:
- Ideally Level 2 NVQ or Care Certificate
- Have full UK driving licence and access to own car - due to location
- An Enhanced DBS (preferably on the update service). If yours has expired or you haven't had one, we can apply on your behalf (cost needs to met by applicant).
- To clear your for work we need to cover 5 years worth of referencing history
- Professional experience with learning disabilities
