We are working with a world-renowned manufacturing company to recruit a Technical Operations Manager into their team. If have experience managing Production Engineering, tool rooms, Projects, New Product Development and would like to work with a major force in innovative manufacturing, then this is the role for you!
Duties:
Ensure efficient, competent, and effective production and development of new and existing products and manufacturing processes
Liaise, support, and assist the QA and Regulatory department to ensure all products comply with requirements
Manage, lead, liaise, and assist in special projects
Support, develop, and enhance the smooth and efficient operation of all manufactured products
Take the lead in all maintaining Bill of Materials, Routs and Methods
Management and implementation of continuous product and production improvements
Aid in the development and introduction of new/enhanced products
Undertake to make recommendations for special projects involved in purchasing, production/manufacturing, and QA
Drive continuous improvement to the manufacturing operation, focusing on lean and cost efficiencies
Oversee the safe and effective operations of the Toolroom

Experience required:
Mechanical Engineering qualification, minimum of HNC
Management training and qualifications
Proven track record in managing multi-disciplined teams
Research and development background is a must
Background in manufacturing with exposure to Production Engineers and Regulatory requirements
Understanding of ISO 13485 Medical Device Quality Management Systems
