We have a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to influence and contribute to developing an established and respected business. You will join an experienced team and will play a key role in delivering efficient, effective and customer focused manufacture of quality LV switchgear, distribution boards and control panels. If you are a Sales Manager with electrical experience then this well-established design and manufacturing company will be keen to hear from you.
As part of the Senior Management Team you will be responsible for all areas of Technical Sales across the business.
Responsible for increasing sales, designing and implementing the sales plan and justifying any initiatives
Identifying emerging markets and evaluating alternative routes to market
Establishing and set the Company's sales targets and goals in line with the business plan
Develop full sales planning, analysis, monitoring and reporting for established and potential business.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers and work with the Engineering and Production teams in developing products, product specifications and quote activities.
Appraising and interpreting customer requirements to ensure commercial, technical and legislative aspects are delivered on each project.
Manage the quotation process, generating, presenting and closing proposals as appropriate based on the opportunity.
Must be able to demonstrate sustained and successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical sales to manufacturing/engineering environment.
Expertise and success in selling bespoke, quotation-based solutions.
The ability to interpret customer requirements and convert to a functional design specification or technical brief.
A degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Controls, Mechanical or similar. Alternatively evidence of long term performance and results in an engineering sales-based environment will be considered.

Salary circa £50,000 + bonus
Hours 8.30-5.00 Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunch (flexible working available)
33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
