Working for a leading company in their field the Test Technician will provide comprehensive testing of high complexity electro mechanical products. Testing, faultfinding, rework and assembly of electro mechanical equipment.
Work from detailed procedures, drawings, documents, change notes and schematics
Soldering & unsoldering, wiring & crimping, drilling, filing & cutting, detailed rework of printed circuit assemblies, and application of mastic & adhesives
Using a variety of tools and equipment necessary to complete tasks
Check and inspect own work and work of others, including proactive troubleshooting and problem solving.
Participate with the creation of SOPs and test documentation etc.
Raise defect reports.
View, print and enter data via the company business data management system.
Create and work in a team environment
Implementing continuous improvements
Ensure work is carried out to the highest quality.
Experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Proven experience of RF testing, faultfinding, rework and assembly
PC literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
Experience of working in a cellular manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
Radar knowledge would be an advantage.
Analytical approach to problem solving
Strong numeracy and literacy skills are required
Due to the nature of the business you will be required to be a British Citizen with 10 years traceable history.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Hours of work are 7.30-4.00 Monday to Thursday with Â½ hour lunch and 7.30 to 12.30 Friday
