Warehouse Operative (Driving Licence Required)

Prime Appointments currently have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to work for a manufacturing and production company based in Ipswich, Suffolk. This is a temp to perm position.

Duties will include:

  • Receiving 1 ton pallets into the warehouse
  • Transferring 20kg of product between boxes (lots of repetitive lifting)
  • Picking and packing orders - this will include heavy lifting
  • Delivering orders to valued customers using the company vans
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Operating the forklift (training can be provided, current counterbalance licence beneficial)
  • Assisting in the production area when required
  • Learning new skills and progressing within the business

For insurance purposes, candidates will need to be 25 or over to be considered for this role. Candidates will need to hold a full UK Driving licence.

Working hours:
08:30 - 17:00 Mon - Fri

Rate of Pay:
£20,000 per annum
