Permanent vacancies

Business as usual here… keeping calm and carrying on! We are busy contacting and screening candidates in the usual way to fill client vacancies. We are using skype and other remote tech to set up online interviews - keeping everyone safe.

Temporary staff vacancies

We are working with our candidates to ensure that they have read and understood  NHS guidance to ensure they are following strict hygiene standards at all times, using hand sanitiser and disinfectant sprays and alcohol wipes at home and work placements.    

We are regularly contacting staff and messaging reminders through email and social media channels daily with updates and advice.  

Protecting our temporary workers

We hope that you and your team are all in good health at this unprecedented time. We wanted to make you aware that Prime Appointments are working hard to protect as many of our temporary workers as possible who meet the current government criteria for furlough leave. We’re in this together. Stay safe.

Prime Appointments are paying our temporary workers who meet the criteria 80% of their average pay, up to a maximum cap of £2,500 per calendar month. For now, we are paying our temporary workers ourselves until we can claim the scheme grant back from the Government .

Job Retention Scheme

Following the Government’s announcement that the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme includes temporary workers, we wanted to let you know we have furloughed qualifying temporary workers on 80% of their average pay. This way, we can ensure they are available for work as soon as you need them, when things return to some kind of normality. We are in this together, doing all that we can to support our temporary workers financially at this difficult time.

Furlough Leave

Our temporary workers furlough leave will last initially for 3 weeks from the date they last worked for one of our clients, the duration will remain under constant review dependent on changing Government advice and the scheme rules.

Do you need temporary or permanent staff?

We are following government advice very closely and taking advice from our governing body, the REC; we are very happy to share what we know to help you make decisions about your own business in relation to furloughing staff if helpful. What happens if temporary workers need to self isolate?

If a temporary worker needs to self isolate due to them or a family member having symptoms, they will contact Prime and advise their situation. If their situation escalates and they have a confirmed case of COVID-19 they will let us know.

We will get in touch with you immediately to advise if any temporary worker is self isolating so that you can take additional precautionary measures if needed. We will contact you immediately if we are advised that our temporary worker has a confirmed case of COVID-19.

What if a temporary worker is presenting symptoms but comes to work?

Ask the temporary worker to leave the premises immediately and call or email us to let us know. We will ask you if you would like a replacement worker or if the placement has ended.
